Betty, do you know George Turner or Dorothy Turner Gray? Sam and Amanda had several children, one was my grandfather, another was John, who is the father of George and Dorothy. Uncle James Turner said he has been to Dorothy Gray's house before a few years ago and said she has a trunk full of old documents for the Turner family. Said she has original documents with signatures. I tried to call Dorothy Gray at last known number but could not get the number to work. There have been some changes in area codes, etc, and I'm not sure if it is a change in area code for the number not working or if she has moved. She was last known to be living in Oak Ridge North in Willis, Tx. I have not been able to get through to her. Do you have any ideas? Sounds like she has a lot of information. Uncle James said Amanda Franklin willed the trunk to Dorothy.
