Dianne, Here is Winnie's Obituary:Funeral services for Mrs. Winnie English Pierce, 64, of Roganville were held
Wednesday, July 22 in the J. O. Stringer Funeral Home. The Rev. K. L. Watson
officated, assisted by the Rev. R. T. Gray and the Rev. Robert Arrington.
Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Pierce died suddendly last Monday in John Sealy Hopital in
Galveston.
She was a member of the Call Junction Pentecostal Church.
Survivors are her husband, the Rev James D. Pierce; six sons Walter,
Preston, Sidney, Herman, Roy, and Jim English, all of Houston; one daughter
Mrs Verna Lott of Zavalla; one step-son J. W. Pierce of New Orleans; five
step-daughters Mrs. Mertis Oliver of Bronson, Mrs. Willie Lee McGown and
Mrs. Mollie Carrol of Bronson and Mrs. Margie Ruth McDaniel of Orange; one
sister Mrs Easter Drawhorn of Bronson; 50 grandchildren and 22
great-grandchildren.

She evedently remarried after james
Presley English died.
Nothing in the Obituary to indicate
her maiden Name.
