Hello to my fellow Good's My ancestor Edward Good is a desendent of John Goode of WHitby. I have DNA proof since I joined Don Page and Nancy Goode Page DNA study. I am stuck. My Edward was born in 1780 In Va. where we do not know. Edward married a nancy Doughtery or Daughtery and moved to TN where there 1st son was born ~ 1809. His name was Hannibal. Hannibal then moves to Howard County Missouri and is documented to be in Ft. Cooper 2 miles sw of Boone's Lick in 1812. Edwards six other children were born in Mo. Harriett, Rebecca, Louisa D.C., James D.(my great, great grandfather)Joseph Warren, Minor P. Edward moves his family to Bevilport (later the town was changed to honor The Jasper from Revoultion fame). Edward arrive in Jasper in 1833 and was awarded a league and labour of land from the Spanish government. There is a Gideon Goode who is mentioned in Virginia Cousins and he is buried in our family cemetery in Jasper, Texas. I would love to hear from someone who might could give me a lead on the parents of Edward Good a desendent of John Goode of Whitby not Edward Goode of Four Mile Creek. Help Cliff Good
