Hello Lisa!

I am so glad to talk to someone from Jasper county who know of some Monks in that area. I am searching your area because of a lead I received regarding my great grandfather. His name was Lonnie Monk, and someone from Magnolia Springs had once talked to a family member of mine and said that he remembered an Uncle Lonnie. My great grandfather left his family when my grandfather was a boy, and no one in the family knows where Lonnie is buried or where he lived. We suspect he started a new family somewhere. I know this is a long shot, but do you know of a Lonnie Monk buried anywhere in your area. Also, where are the Monks buried in Jasper county? None of the names you mentioned ring a bell. Thanks!
