Is it possible that the name that you are looking for is actually LOCHAUSEN? There is a Lochausen family listed on the 1900 Jackson Co Census with a daughter named Lizzie. Someone wrote over the first name of the head of household and some of the other writing on the census is very faint. The HH was born in TX but his father was born in Germany, and it appears that his mother was born in France.

This name appears in Pct 4, 1900 Jackson Co, Sheet B, page 189.

This would mean that this Lizzie was not married in 1897.
