I have a book on the history of Jackson County, Texas. I found your Patrick Scott listed in the very early years of this county. I would be happy to make copies of these entries and send them to you. I do not have a scanner or else I'd off that route. If you are interested, e/mail me off post at SBHARV@WEBTV.NET. A small sample...Patrick Scott, and Irishman obtained a grant of land in what is now known as the Red Bluff
district on October 21, 1830. Patrick Scott died sometime prior to 1835, leaving the land in it's entirety to his children. There is way to much to enter here. Let me know if you would like copies.
