Seek info on any Russell or Burleson Family residents of Smith- Overton- Jackson County Tennessee after 1800. Some were members of the Spring Creek Baptist Church and lived on the Waters of Russell Mill Creek presently called Mill Creek.
Major William Russell SR. 1762NC-1825Ala. lived in the area between 1800 and 1808 before relocating to the Boling Fork of the Elk River near the present day town of Cowan Tennessee. From land deeds this Russell adjoining Jessey Starkey on the water of the West Fork of the Roaring River near the David Ramsey Family.
Is there any Help?
Richard
