Williams is a very common surname, so you might want to add some dates in your query. Do you know when and where Sydney and Vienne were born or died? If not, what year was your father born?
Since the name Laughter is less common, and you thought they lived next door to each other, I did a little researching, and found this interesting combination.

Celestial is a widow in Jackson Co, TX on the 1900 census. By 1910 she and Andrew are married and living in Jackson Co, TX and he is listed as Preacher, Babtist[sic] Church.
