He is buried in Memory Gardens (Prairie City White) in Edna, TX. This cemetery is at 204 Buffalo St in Edna. As far as I know, this cemetery is the only one actually within the city limits of Edna.

The records I have show Josiah to be Joseph Simpston, but I have an abstract of funeral records so it is possible that the name was mistyped. The records show he was born 24 Jan 1847, and died 14 Oct 1923.

To get to the cemetery, take Hwy 59S and exit Hwy 111 in Edna. Go through the traffic light, past Hwy 111, and turn right on the first street after the light (N Kleas). Take N. Kleas until it ends, and the cemetery is at the end of the street.
