At the Lolita Cemetery - have you come across any surname of GAYLE? I am trying to find information on a
GEORGE GAYLE Jr. who was born about 1890 in Texas (African-American).
He is listed in the 1900 Census of Jackson County with his parents and siblings. In the 1910 Census of Jackson County with parents and brother Sylvester Gayle.
Then he is listed as married with wife MINNIE GAYLE with two children, Jesse Gayle age 2 and daughter Gracie M. Gayle 1, in the 1920 Victoria County, Texas Census.
I am guessing he died between 1921-1929.
