My great grandfather was James E. Higgins, Jr. b, 1861 in Jack County, TX, d. 1941 in OK. He married Jesse Crumal (or Crumel or Crummel, or Crummal, etc) in 1888. He was one of five siblings: John L. Higgins, Lewis W. Higgins, James E. Higgins, Thomas W. Higgins, and Eliza (Eva) Higgins. They were born between 1858 and 1874 in Texas.

James' father was James E. Higgins (Sr), b. 1840 in Missouri. His wife was names Eliza Jane McConnel. She went by Lizie, Sarah, or Jane. She was born 1837 in Tennessee. James apparently had a brother, unknown Higgins, who had one son George. George had three sons: "Pet", Ed, and Guy. "Pet" had two sons: Floyd and Delbert.

The parents of James E. Higgins (SR) were both born in Tennessee. Any cousins out there? If so, please contact me. Thanks. My e-mail address is: <>
