Oh well, I might skip trying to get the article if it's in really poor condition. I am happy enough to have the name and marriage date of the couple. And soon, I hope to get a copy of the marriage liscense.
Aha! So you ARE a historian, even if not for Jack Co.! A historian is usually one for ALL counties, as it's too hard not to get involved because ALL the histories are so interesting.
Our county of Grey in TX. does not have a genealogy society and there's very little at our library to do any research on. There is one lady who does a bit occasionally for the newspaper on some of the happenings of the olden times. Mostly if you do any research from here in Pampa, you have to drive to Amarillo, 50 miles away, so I can appreciate what you're doing for Young & Jack and hope the people there do, too. I rely heavily on this computer for research.
Nice hearing from you, & again, thanks for the information. You've made a number of my family happy with that find!
