I know this is an old post, and by now you may have your information, but this site just came online fairly recently - TX Dth Idx 1890-1976 --

Robert H. Jones, b ca 1846, TN; d 15 Jul 1914, Greenville, Hunt Co, TX; married; father W.D. Jones MD [not sure if they mean he was a doctor, or whether he was born in Maryland]; buried Trenton, TX [there is a Trenton in Fannin Co, TX]; informant W. D. Jones.

You could look for wife of Robert, see where she was buried. It might give a clue as to whether the above is the Robert you want.
