Go to the familysearch.org website. You will see "Search Records" towards the top of the screen. DON'T click on it, but put your cursor on it and you will see "Record Search Pilot". Click on that. When it loads, click on the map where it says "Canada/USA". That will bring up a list of the things in the US that is on the pilot site.

Go down the list to where it says "Texas Deaths, 1890-1976. Type in the name and hit search. When the name appears, click on the name. It will give you some information, but you will see a picture of a record on the right-hand top. Click on that and it will bring up the actual death certificate. (note: If the picture of the death certificate is too small to read, double click on the certificate and it will enlarge it.) Click "print" and you will print the actual certificate.

Luther Augustus Stinson's death certificate is on that site and you can print it.

I know that this is a lot of instruction, but you will be rewarded.

Anybody that you have that died in Texas during that period of time, their death certificates should be on that site.

Sincerely,
Li Ann Lee
