Doyle,

The Bud Roberts I'm interested in was married to Mary Thompson and had three brothers by the names of Sug, Cub, and Emzy. He also had a half brother named James Williams who I believe also lived in Howard Co. According to the Online History of Howard County, Bud (William Travis) Roberts was Howard County's first settler. Are we talking about the same Bud Roberts? Bud's descendant who lives in Midland has contacted me; he says most of Bud's property in Howard Co. is still in the family. However, I don't believe he said whether or not they live in the Big Spring area. Thanks for the information you sent me. I'd like to see any pictures you have. Thanks again. I appreciate your help.

Glenda
