Anita, did you find info. on Slater James in 1930 Howard Co.census? I don't have access to that census, but did find he is buried in Mount Olive Cemetery like you said, he is in the I.0.0.F.section.
In the same plot is Cora L. James
b:Nov 5,1896
d:Oct 8,1979
I looked in my Howard Co. book for a family history, but there was none there.
You probably have this after 2 years...just thought I would pass it along.
