Her husband Glen D. Aaron, a longtime independent oil and gas businessman, preceded her in death on August 21, 2000. LeRae was born in Waco, Texas on June 13, 1919, to James Pink Pryor and Florence King Pryor, the youngest of 9 children, all having predeceased her. Glen and LeRae spent 60 wonderful years of their lives deeply in love with one another. They had one son, Glen D. Aaron II, longtime former Midland lawyer and businessman. LeRae is survived by her son, Glen D. Aaron, II and his wife, Jane H. Hellinghausen of Midland, Texas; one granddaughter, Ashley Aaron of Midland, Texas; three grandsons, Glen D. Aaron, III (Trey) of Houston, Texas, Robert Sean Aaron and his wife, Hilda Aaron of Midland, Texas and Glen D. Aaron IV (Cuatro) and his wife, Shawnna Aaron of Midland, Texas; six great-grandchildren, Hunter Trey Aaron, Dawson Richard Aaron, Haleigh Starr Aaron, Robert Austin Aaron, Logan Reese Aaron and Ashleigh C. Schutt; and sister-in-law Lavon Aaron of Midland, Texas. LaRae and her late husband were long time members of First Baptist Church of Midland, Texas. A wife of noble character, who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of valueÉ.she sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her taskÉ.She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needyÉ.Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the landÉ.She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her. Many women do noble things but you surpass them all. Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman that fears the Lord is to be praised. Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate. Proverbs 31:10 Thank you mother, thank you grandmother, for always being our saving grace. Home cooked lunches and kisses on bumped knees, are just a few memories you leave. Getting up early on Christmas Day wearing granddad's PJs and filling your house full of praise. Your love and devotion will be handed down time after time. Your special spark will burn forever more within all of our lives. Graveside services will be held at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland, Texas on Tuesday, August 31, 2004, at 3:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
