H.B. Massengale-m-Ellenor Crowson in Noxubee
Ms. in 1845. They moved to Houston Co. Tx.
soon after. They had 17 children all together
The family story goes, that H.B. had a saw
mill. When their daughter, Mary was 5 or 6 years old she lay her doll on the saw belt
and when she saw her doll being carried away
she tried to get it and was killed. Does any
one know this story and the time and dates?
I cannot find when Mary was born or died.
Ellenor Crowson was the daughter of Arron
Crowson and Rhoda Lovelady. Arron Crowson
died in Al. abt. 1832. Rhoda remarried and
moved to Houston Co. with H.B. & Ellenor.
When did Rhoda die and where is she buried?
