Hello Mike,

We think the Robert & William White are not related to your Whites. I located an 1838 Tax Roll for Houston Co and it also had a Nimrod Britt on it. Robert & William White (my gg grandfather) had a nephew named Nimrod Britt and two, of the three, had children born in TX between 1838 and 1841 so it is a natural inclination to use Nimrod as the "clue" and we presume these are our William & Robert.

I have done a little research on your Stephen just to rule him out as part of our family...I believe he also had a son named Tilman B White. If my memory serves me right, Tilman ended up around Hill Co, TX. Since Robert, William and their sister, Lutilda's father, Vincent White b. 1760 was also from NC, I have not completely ruled out that he and Robert SR may have been related. The names in our family almost mimic those found in Robert Sr's family.

If I find that the Robert & William are related to you, instead of me, I will be sure to let you know.
Faye
