Hancock/Renfroe/Carleton 1800's
Posted by: Ethel Gallant Date: June 08, 2000 at 11:18:06

Looking for information on my g-grandmother, Martha Ella Renfroe b.11-20-1872 in Houston Co., d.12-5-1935 md to James Madison "Matt" Carleton on 11-22-1892. Martha's mother was a Hancock.
Also looking for information on Maj. J. R. Hancock from Houston County. He was a planter and land owner and a pioneer of Houston County. Was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church according to the Houston County History book.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ethel
