Hi Suzan,

I don't know if you've seen the 1900 or 1910 census for her. In both, it states she was born in TX & her parents in AL. The 1900 census shows she was born July 1865. The below census looks like her.

1880 (From LDS)

Name Relation Marital Status Gender Race Age Birthplace Occupation Father's Birthplace Mother's Birthplace

Wm. E. WILSON Self M Male W 48 AL Farmer SC SC
Sarah A. WILSON Wife M Female W 43 AL Keeping House GA SC
Wm. R. WILSON Son S Male W 19 TX Works On Farm AL AL
Francis C. WILSON Dau S Female W 13 TX At Home AL AL
T. D. WILSON Nephew D Male W 37 AL Works On Farm AL AL

Source Information:
Census Place Precinct 4, Hunt, Texas
Family History Library Film 1255312
NA Film Number T9-1312
Page Number 514C

1870: Precinct 4, Hunt Co., Texas

Wm. E. Wilson 38 AL Farmer
Sarah A. Wilson 34 AL Keeping House
Mary A. Wilson 14 TX At Home
Anderson Wilson 13 TX At Home
Elizabeth Wilson 11 TX At Home
Wm. R. Wilson 9 TX At Home
Frances C. Wilson 4 TX At Home

1860: Western District, Point Pleasant P.O., Upshur Co., Texas

W. E. Wilson 28 AL Farmer (Male)
Sarah Wilson 29 AL
Mary Wilson 4 TX
Anderson Wilson 3 TX
Elizabeth Wilson 1 TX
A. L. or A. T. Wright 49 GA Farmer (Male)
Ann Wright 49 SC
John Wright *16 AL Farmer
Henry Wright 22 AL Farmer
James Wright 20 AL Farmer
*Could be 26.

OneWorldTree shows Sarah's parents as:

Anderson T. Wright
Born: 1812, Georgia
Died: 1869, Point Pleasant, Upshur, Texas

Sara Ann Barnes
Born: 19 May 1812 in Edgefield Dist., South Carolina
Died: 10 Oct 1879 in Gregg, Texas

Marriage: 14 May 1830 in Montgomery, Alabama

The Wright family is in Upshur, Upshur County in 1850. Also there is a W. E. Wilson, male, age 19. I believe this is Sarah's husband to be, but he's not in a Wilson household.

Hope that helped somewhat.

Regards,
liz
