Seeking Hopkins, Hardin, Tomlin, Tomlinson or McCampbell info
Posted by: Pat ALMQUIST (ID *****6917) Date: January 05, 2010 at 07:36:42

My brick wall is my maternal great-grandmother. At the time she married my great-grandfather, her name was Sarah McCampbell. However, my grandmother (who is long deceased) told my mother (also deceased) that her mother's maiden name was Tomlin or Tomlinson. I feel, since my grandfather had six children to rear, that he married a widow. Strictly intuition. There is no indication that she had any children. There is one far-out possibility that she was a school teacher but that has never been verified.

Any help from any one would certainly be appreciated. Thank you.
