You said you found the family on the census, but it would have been helpful if you had given some dates and location of births, like age of J.M. and born in Ind etc. I had to go look them up so I could figure out ages and narrow down the search. A little suggestion, when a name is misspelled on the census that helps, too. Wyat, instead of Wyatt on the 1860 census.
1880 census Bosque Co, TX, looks like Albert is a widow:
