The Nancy Smith Cemetery headstone reads Caroline "Pelepin"; however, the DC of one son references Caroline "Penelope"; the DC of another son references Caroline "Meadows: the DC of a daughter references Caroline "Henderson"...

None of these combinations can be found in records of the State; or, counties of Bosque, Hood, or Somervell.

Nor, have any of the genealogy societies in either of these counties been able to locate documentations of either marriage or death.

One TX Census for Somervell County lists a "2" for both William and Caroline -- but, cannot locate any record of a first marriage for either in either TX, TN, or MS; nor, any record of a divorce for either William or Caroline.
