Seeking any information on the family of Dennis & J. S. Woodward and children Cora Bertee & "Sister" who disappear after this census. I can find none of them anywhere. In 1900 they were with her father J.(John) J. and brother J. M. (Joe Monroe)Davis. In 1880 Johnson Co her initials were listed as S. J. She was born in TX (probably Ellis Co) April 1871; Dennis was born TX June '68. She has a brother Thomas B. born in Ark abt 1869. In looking at an 1870 Ellis Co census their mother's name may have been Sarah b. TN abt. 1853. John J. was born TN 1835. Some of her siblings later settled in Taylor Co around Merkel; a possible sister (Rachel George?) of John J. was also found there and part of this line we think ties in was in Erath Co.
