Looking for any information on the family of D Franklin O'Neal located in Precinct 1 of the Hood County 1880 census page 18c. D Franklin O'Neal Self M Male W 24 Tx Harriett T O'Neal Wife M Female W 18 Tx Sintha A O'Neal Dau S Female W 3 Tx Beul O'Neal Son S Male W 1 Tx Cintha L O'Neal Mother W Female W 65 Al Elisabeth Cline Other S Female W 17 Tx I believe this to be my Great-Great-Grandparents via a daughter born Feb 1881, Lula Rainey O'Neal (Lurainey?). Harriett is possibly Harriet Tenny (Tennie) O'Neal listed twice in Comanche County in the 1900 census as H.T. Burton (servant) and Tenny Burton (Head). This would make Beul listed above the John listed in Comanche. (A John B O'Neill is listed in the home of Winnie Clyne in the 1910 Bexar County census - ED#28, Sheet 201.) Lula Rainey O'Neal's son, Hollie Houston Cole, is listed in the 1920 Tarrant County census in the home of E.F. O'Neal - H.T. Burton's son from the 1900 Comanche census and 1910 Ellis County census as Elijah F. O'Neal. Lula, although parents are listed as white (IF this is her parents), had a large degree of Native American blood in her veins as evidenced by a photo of her and by her own account, told third-hand through an old letter.
