Cleburne Memorial Cemetery of Johnson County Texas has been cataloged!!!
Within its contents is a photo of a Confederate Monument erected in 1921. There is also a brief history of the cemetery. In addition there is a map of the entire cemetery along with expanded maps of blocks which do not conform to the most common blocks within the cemetery. Each grave has its on address with directions on how to find each one. PLUS A FULL INDEX!!
Almost 9000 people have been listed with notes from cemetery records as well as headstones. Sometimes when a grave had no marker the burial date along with the personís age at the time of burial has been included from the log. There are additional notes given when a stone contained information about marriage, family relationships, military service and occasionally the location of birth and death. Some buried here are among the "Founding Fathers" of Johnson County. Their names can be found on street signs when taking a drive around Cleburne.
