Dear Irene,

Mount Pleasant Cemetery is south of Tolar on connecting road between Hwy. 377 and FM 51.

The cemetery is still in use. The oldest grave is from 1864, two years before Hood County's formation from Johnson County.

I have a listing of the headstones up to July 29, 1973. I would be glad to do any lookups for you.

Virginia Hale
Lake Jackson, Texas
