Thomas J. Strickland Confederate Service

Thomas Jefferson Strickland was born in Decatur County, GA in 1835. He married America Gandy in Decatur Co. in 1860. After the War of Northern Aggression he and his family moved to TX. The US Census taken in Hood County, TX in 1910 lists him as a Veteran that served in the Confederate States Army. I am wondering if there are any Civil War buffs or even any of the descendants/relatives/friends of Thomas Jefferson's family that might have a little more information on what unit he was in and/or engagements in which he served? He had a brother named Green Berry that served in the war in a Florida unit. Thank you.

Robert Strickland
