In Reply to: DODSON FAM I LY MEMBERS IN HILL CO. by Calvin Little of 1107

I am disappointed that I have had no response from this earlier query, but I want to try again. The Dodsons who were supposed to have moved from Cleburne County, A;labama to Hill County, Texas in the 1800's were children of Edmund Dodson, who was born in Pendleton District, South Carolina, and was in the War of 1812, Edmund Dodson married Rebecca Fuller in
Jan. 1818. In Nov. of 1818 their first child, Salina Dodson was born, And I think they had 14 more children. In about 1832 they moved to Benton County, Alabama.
Edmund Dodson died in 1882, and was supposed to have been buried in a family Cemetery in Cleburne County, but I haven't been able to find the Cemetery. Perhaps one day, but we'll see,
Calvin Little
