You said Lettie was a widow by 1900 so I assumed you found her on the 1900 census. I went looking because you didn't give dates etc for her. On the 1900 census in Johnson Co, TX she is listed as Lucretia. Her three children are still at home, so that is the right lady. Record not real clear and I can't tell if she owns land. If she did, then you might look for land and tax records. Find Wesley, when his name disappears and her name appears on the tax record she is a widow. Did she die in Johnson Co? If so, have you found her grave? Is Wesley buried next to her????

The 1880 census does not ask about land, but on the 1870 census Anderson Co, TX, Wesley does own land. Wow, have you seen that one? I wondered about gap in ages between Martha and Addie, looks like they had two other sons and maybe they died before 1880 census. Plus, it looks like parents of Wesley are living with the family.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
