My father's name was Eugenio Gutierrez, although he used Eugene Gutierrez. My father was born on a small ranch in either San Juan or San Manuel on April 16, 1927. When my grandfather, Eugenio Gutierrez died in January 1937 or 1938, he was buried in a cemetery? San Carmen which was a plot of land on a ranch between Edinburgh and a point on Texas/Mexico border where immigrants were admitted in those days. My father has passed away and his younger siblings are sketchy on some of these details. Younger siblings od my father included Severo, Catarino(killed by hit and run driver as a child), Francisca and Maunuel.
