Luther Guy McDonald

I was hoping someone could help me dig up any information on my grandfather, Luther Guy McDonald. He was an insurance agent and also owned McDonald Groves and Farms. He died April 17, 1958 in Mercedes, TX. I am particularly interested in finding any information on his death, such as police reports, newspaper articles, and such, but I am interested in anything anyone can find. The Justice of the Peace, at the time, W.H. Peace ruled his death a sucide. His death was investigated by Sheriff Howard Stansbury. Funeral arrangements were by Stotler Mortuary and he is buried in Ebony Grove Cemetery. Thank you to anyone who can help.

Tracy
