Francis J. Weins, Peter Weins

  of 192

I am looking for any information for Peter Weins [1862, Wisconsin-1937, Montana] and his son, Francis [Frank] Weins[1892, Wisconsin-1946, Montana]. Francis J. Weins was in the Army in Texas, during World War I.

Peter was listed as a contractor in the 1920 Mercedes, Hidalgo census. Peter's wife, Margaret Heinrichs Weins [1862, Wiscosin-1922] died in 1922 in Missouri. Peter Weins was in Montana by 1937 but was not located in the 1930 census. So, he could have been in Mercedes until 1937.

Their son, Frank [Francis] was listed as a painter in the Mercedes 1920 federal census although he was listed a chiropractor or doctor in other documents. He was in Texas during World War One.

Frank's first wife, Anna Ryan Weins, may be listed in directories from 1921 or later. Frank had moved to Missouri and Indiana by 1930.

The surname may be spelled Wines or Wiens as that is the way it is pronounced.
