Hi Jude, I'm researching Permelia Owens Brannan, my Great Great Great grandmother. I've found a little about her on the website findagrave.com. Theres a couple pictures of her headstone, and reference as being the sister of Beverly Basil Owens and Benjamin Wiley Owens. She was in Arkansas in 1850, Van Zandt, Texas in 1860, Henderson Co in 1870 and Athens Texas, which is Henderson County in 1880. She's listed on each of those year census records. In 1850 listed under the name of Permelia Brammer, married to John B Brammer, 1860 P Brannan, also J B Brannan as husband. 1870 Permelia Bramman, and John B Bramman, and 1880 Parmelia Brannan and John Brannan. Hope this helps. Keith Hodges.
