Were you the one to attend the Tidmore/Riddlesperger Reunion this past year? Your grandfather was fondly known to me (and others) as Daddy John. Aunt May, my great aunt, was more strict, but a wonderful person.
Daddy John would take us nieces on horseback rides, and tell us to excel at what we want to do. He and I shared a birthday and gifts during the last years of his life.
Hope your journey into genealogy and the past is going well.
