The Malakoff News was associated with his name when I did a search for him on another site. His name is RBF (Frank) Pierce. I am not sure when or where he died but I do know the last time he appeared in a census record was 1880 in Freestone Co., TX. I know it is a long shot on finding any information about him but I took a chance that something might pop up.
