We are searching for information on Andrew Romines. He was married to Ann Elizabeth King. He was born in TN but came to TX sometime after 1880. A story has been passed down through the family that he was hung in Henderson County, TX in 1902. As the story goes he killed a black man and stole his horse. He was hung for stealing the horse not killing the man. I am trying to verify this story about his death. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Joanne Romine
