I didn't know who i was loooking for until I read this . She was Candy Reid's Grandmother in which was my class mate in school.

Helen Chaney, 95, died July 7th in Canadian

Helen Chaney, 95, a former longtime Amarillo resident, died Sunday, July 7, in Canadian,Texas.
Gravesides services were held Tuesday afternoon in Llano Cemetery in Amarillo,Texas with the Rev. Rick Mathis, pastor of West Amarillo Christian Church, officiating. Arrangements were by Stickley-Hill Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Chaney was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and graduated from Pawhuska Oklahoma High School. S attended Oklahoma A&M College in Stillwater. She had lived in Amarillo from 1933 until 1987 when she moved to Canadian.
She was a former Sunday school teacher and a member of West Amarillo Christian Church. She was precededin death by a grandson, Britt Reid, in 1988.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol Reid of Canadian, two granddaughters and five greatgrandchilren.
The family requests memorial be to the Edward Abraham Memorial Home, of Canadian.
