Francis McKinnon Morton died March 10th 1950 in San Marcos Texas. This was reported in the San Marcos Record. Mrs. Morton was a poet and a newspaper columnist. I believe her husband was a John Morton, and, they may have had a son John R. Morton who I believe was a doctor who died in 1981.
Francis was my grandmothers'(Pearl Morton)aunt. Her father James C. Morton was Francis' brother in law. I am searching for more info on the Mortons and McKinnons in Missouri and how they got to Texas.
