Jackson - Justice of the Peace 1850 - which Jackson?
Posted by: Ann Davis (ID *****7789) Date: August 12, 2013 at 18:40:37

I had someone send me an email that Joshua Moses Jackson was the Justice of the Peace in 1850

I know that is not correct and he is not in the 1850 Harrison county census either

but for the life of me, I cannot locate the correct Jackson that was the Justice of the Peace in 1850 in my database notes, too many to sort through.

Can anyone help me out?

Joshua Moses Jackson and wife killed by Indians, and many websites give his parents as Ester Hart and Samuel Jackson
which is NOT correct, may have been related but not son.

Thank you
