I looked for the marriage in FamilySearch but didn't find it.

1930 Precinct 6, Harrison, TX
John Reeves, b. TX, 50, general farmer
Lizzie, wife, b. TX, 30
Troy, b. TX, 10
Clifford, b. TX, 8
Elsie L., b. TX, 6
Jessie L., son, b. TX, 4

John Reeves
Born: abt. 1886, TX
Occupation: Farmer
Died: 26 April 1931, Hor... Harrison Co., TX
Father: John Reeves, b. TX
Mother: Sarah Starr, b. TX
Buried: Eutis Cemetery, 27 April 1931
Source: Texas Deaths 1890-1976,

1940 Cold Water Road, hallsville, harrison, TX
Melissie Reeves, b. TX, 38, head household, widow, education=7th grade, farmer
Troy W., b. TX, 20, educ=6th grade, farmer
tony C., b. TX, 18, educ=7th grade, laborer farm
Elsie L., b. TX, 16
Jessie L., b. TX, 14
Thelma M., b. TX, 7
Ivan Roberson, brother, b. TX, 40, widower, educ=6th grade, laborer farm
Willie M. Roberson, neice, b. TX, 14

I think John might have been married before Lizzie/Melissie but I couldn't find him anywhere before 1930.

Contact the Harrison County Clerk, Clerk/county_clerk.htm if you want to verify their marriage. I'm assuming they married in that County. Successful Searching!
