Following up on my research for the Lloyd family identified in post No. 492 on this forum, I would like to see if anybody could look for two marriage that may have occured in Marshall, TX during the 1870's.
One is for Mary Francis Seay (nee Melton) who married a man named Rogers. The marriage took place after the 1870 census at which time she is found living with her daughter, Mary C. Lloyed, in Marshall Co., MS. She is found in Marshall, TX in 1880 with her husband who's name may be I.M.Rogers which is difficult to read.
The other marriage is for Charlotte Seay, daughter of Mary Francis above. She is last found at age 13 in the same household in Marshall Co., MS.
Based on the birth date of one of the sons of L.W. and Mary C. Lloyd, this family was in Texas by 1874.
