Phalby Alice Beehn Norris passed away on 11/22/2008. She was the daughter of Charles Alfred Beehn and Ruth Emma Merritt Beehn. Maternal grandparents were Jeremiah Edy (J.E.) Merritt and Alice Lillian Kirkpatrick Merritt (for whom Merritt Street in Marshall was named). Paternal grandparents were Charles Alexander Beehn and Mary Phalby Torry Beehn.
She married Clarence Albert Norris on August 9, 1947 in Dallas, Texas. He preceded her in death on March 11, 1989. She is survived by her only child, Phalby Norris Porter and husband Charles L. Porter, Jr. of Marshall; two grandchildren - Gary Jo (Joey) Fugate of Round Rock, TX and Jeremy Chad Fugate of Wautaga, TX.
Services were handled by Downs Funeral Home of Marshall.
