I looked at her death certificate and see the signature Hayward at the bottom of the form where normally the funeral home responsible person signed. There is a Hayward Funeral Home in Marshall that is operated by and African American family so possibly that home was in charge of the funeral. I don't know what condition their records are for that period of time but maybe they could help. I looked at what cemetery records that have been published on cemeteries in Marshall and did not find her listed. There are several predominately African American cemeteries that are now used. To name a few, Powder Mill, Wiley, Rose Hill Gardens.

There is also a Rambo Funeral Home in Marshall.

I no longer live in Texas but did a lot of cemetery searches when I was there.
