If you have any more information whatsoever, it might be a good idea to post it. Was this Nora Anthony black or white? Was she listed as a single person or living in the household of someone else?

There was an ETBC (East Texas Baptist College) that was/is predominately white in the 1930s and Wiley College which was/is predominately a black college. They are both still there.

There was another black college located right on the main drag but it moved to Dallas and changed its name over 30 years ago. I cannot remember the name. ETBC is now ETBU (East Texas Baptist University).
