I believe that marriage is a match! My next step is to find out about the property owned by Benjamine S. Simmons in Harrison Cty. He is listed on the 1860 Census for Ash Springs, Harrison Cty. as having real estate at a value of $1250. He therefore, must have obtained property between 1850 and 1860. They later moved and are located in 1870 in Van Zandt Cty. I am trying to locate deed information on his property. Do you have any sources that you could direct me to locate this information?
