The publication, "Harrison County, Texas Early Marriage Records, 1839-1869", lists a marriage of a "Benj. T. Timmons" to Mary A. Myrick, March 5, 1946.

The early records were handwritten and during the early 1930s were copied and typed. The originals were lost. It now appears that the entry on Benj. T. Simmons was one of those where the handwriting was incorrectly copied.

There is also a marriage record for"Benj. F. Timmons" to Missouri Anderson, January 31, 1850.
