Thank you so very much for the information. Mr. Bill Stauts had sent the same information to me earlier. However, it is the thoughtfulness of people like yourself and Bill that are worth more than can be put into words.
The information which you sent is indeed my "long, lost uncle" and it assisted me in finally being able to trace Uncle Jesse and his family in Texas. To give you a little background, Uncle Jesse killed a man in Union County, N. C. (we have heard it was self defense and probably over one of his sisters) and fled to Texas where he met Susan Hall Crossgrove. Census records even show that at one time he was a police officer in Marshall (I guess they definitely didn't run background checks back then.lol). I would definitely like to find out more on the Hall family prior to their move to Texas.
Again, please accept my dearest thanks for taking the time to answer to my posting.
