Terri,
Hi I just read your post and I think I have some information on the Jesse James Cocker you are looking for. I have a book titled "Birth, Death, and Marriage Notices from the Marshall Messenger Newspapers Marshall, Texas 1890-1900", I have found a Marriage record for this man. It reads like this
"Friday, June 8, 1894 Married Mr. Jesse James and Mrs. Sue Crossgrove, last night. The bride is the sister of Mr. F. Y. Hall."
I also found some information on the brother F.Y. Hall.
"Tuesday, May 16, 1893 To Wed: Mr. F.Y. Hall our next postmaster, and Miss Lizzie E. Graham, at Grand Cane, tomorrow. (Mr. Hall did not get appointed)"
"Friday, May 19, 1893 Married: Yesterday, at Grand Cane, Mr. F. Y. Hall and Miss Lizzie E. Graham."
"Tuesday, May 15, 1894 Died: Mrs. Frank Y. Hall (nee Lizzie Graham) last night. Remains shipped to Grand Cane, Louisiana."
Also it mentions an Eli T. Rosborough. Hope this information will help, write me back if you have any questions.
Jennifer Jordan
